THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS AND THE NEW YEAR. 😇🎅

ISAIAH 9:6.

6.For unto as a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

LUKE 4:18-19

18.The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that bruised,

19. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

🧑‍🎄Christmas is a very unique and a seasonal occasion celebrated by most Christians all over the world to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Is a period families and loved ones come together to foster unity, resolve their differences, share ideas and gifts, and encourage one another. Businesses, companies, corporations both small and great usually take some time of their busy schedules to reflect over their performances. Whether they are progressing or retrogressing. How they can improve and re-strategize for optimum profit in the new year👩‍👩‍👦‍👧.

    

Most churches and some individual families’ showcase the spirit of Christmas by visiting charity homes, hospitals, prisons and juvenal centers to show them love in cash and kind. They donate food items, clothes, books, toiletries, soaps, water, soft drinks, beverages and many more on behalf of Jesus Christ. (For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. MATTHEW 25: 35-36) 🙂.

Dearly beloved, you can do something similar in a simple manner to make your Christmas and your new year celebration complete. Is all about showing a little kindness to someone in and around your environs with a charismas card, a book, a pen, toffees, chocolate, a tin of milk or milo and so on. That person could be the bread seller down the street, the mechanic in your neighborhood or anybody you deem special. Trust me, your spirit man be more fulfilled for putting smile on the faces of people😊.

This act of cheerful of giving is so rewarding. (Give and it shall be giving unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom…. LUKE 6: 38). It’s another way of showing gratitude towards God for His abundance of grace He showered upon you from 1^st January,2023 to December💃.

We need to use this occasion to quench the fiery darts of the wicked by breaking away from all kinds of unprofitable habits such as forgiveness, bitterness, laziness, inconsistency, procrastinations and so forth. Make peace with people who offended you. Decide whom to walk with in order to have peace of mind for your personal growth in 2024👩‍🔧.
